Clover Fest at Farm on the Point Market
About the event:
Come spend the day with us at Clover Fest! This event is all about celebrating our local farms, makers, and small businesses. It’s a chance to shop, support local, and enjoy the start of the holiday season together. Bird on a Branch will be there, too, and we’ll be teaming up with our friends at Black Holly Gardens at neighboring tables.

Star Child Holiday Makers Market
About the event:
Join us for a festive, gift-focused market hosted by Star Child Nature School!
Shop handcrafted gifts from talented local vendors — including works from Star Child’s own teachers — and bring the kids so they can pick presents and make a special ornament to take home. Come support local makers and celebrate the season with us!

Nature’s Classroom Event: Little Free Library & Pantry Build Class
About the event:
Join us for a special hands-on woodworking class where we’ll be building Little Free Libraries and Little Free Pantries, simple, beautiful community structures that embody the spirit of “Give a little, take a little.”
Whether it’s sharing a favorite book, offering a can of soup to a neighbor in need, or giving kids a place to find stories that spark their imagination, these small structures make a big impact. This class invites you to be part of that ripple effect.

Cold Frame Building Workshop
About the event:
Love gardening, but hate when the season ends? Join us for a Woodworking Workshop and learn to build your very own cold frame. It’s a great way to extend your growing season and become more self-sufficient. No experience needed. All tools, wood, and materials are provided. You’ll be guided step by step in a relaxed, judgment-free environment. Everyone leaves with a finished cold frame, ready to plant in.
We’ll also welcome Jeff Calhoun from Black Holly Gardens, who will share the benefits of Elderberry Syrup and offer complimentary samples.
Enjoy a farm tour, meet our friendly animals, and browse handmade woodworking items, herbal teas, tinctures, and Sam’s Handmade Pantry foods available for purchase. Come breathe the fresh fall air, learn something new, and build with your own hands.

About the event:
Come spend a day learning, creating, and connecting! Whether you’re crafting a birdhouse, blending your own tea, brewing kombucha, or learning to grow mushrooms—this hands-on event is all about rolling up your sleeves, discovering something new, and bringing home something beautiful (and maybe even delicious). Come connect, create, and have a great time with an inspiring community of makers. Whether you’re a curious beginner or just looking to learn something new, there’s something here for everyone!

Join Bird on a Branch, and our sister company Red Oak Permaculture, (and other wonderful vendors), as we team up to offer beautiful outdoor wooden products, perennial plants, as well as a variety of creative services to help make your outdoor space the place to be.

Nature’s Classroom Event: Plant ID + Herbal Workshop
About the event:
Spend the day with us and herbalist Jeff Calhoun for a fun, educational experience! We’ll begin with a Plant Identification Walk at scenic Arney’s Mount Park, where you’ll get to know local herbs and wild plants up close.
Afterward, we’ll head back to Bird on a Branch Farm for a farm tour and a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to craft your very own batch of Fire Cider—a classic herbal tonic known for its immune-boosting goodness.

Yoga on the Farm Experience
About the event:
Join us Sunday 5/18/25 for our first Yoga on the Farm Experience @ Bird on a Branch Farm and Design. This class will take place outdoors in our grass field surrounded by goats, chickens, turkeys, pig, baby ducks and dogs.
